    Frequently asked

    Before you write

How long do you take to reply?

We aim to answer every message within five working days. Project proposals may take longer, because they are reviewed jointly by the technical team.

    Does FIG fund third-party projects?

FIG works mainly in partnership, delivering projects together with local organisations, rather than as a grant-making body for external proposals. Cases where direct support makes sense are assessed individually.

How can I see the Statutes?

Write to us with “Document request” as the subject. The Statutes, the Descriptive Memorandum and, once they exist, the annual reports are provided on request and will be published in the Transparency section.

    Do you accept volunteers?

Yes, particularly skilled volunteering in health, education, environment and monitoring and evaluation. Choose “Skilled volunteering” as the subject and tell us your field and availability.

How do I raise a concern about FIG?

Use “Raise a concern” as the subject. Reports are forwarded to the Supervisory Board and reviewed outside the normal management line.
